Purpose: Provide input in terms of First Tee – Lake County programming and evaluation of the program, its staffing and Volunteers. Promote program and its benefits to other youth within and outside First Tee – Lake County. Organize and manage the community service assistance of participants.

Eligibility:  The Junior Advisory Committee is governed by a Council. All enrolled participants of The First Tee of Lake County ages 12-18 are voting members for the election of Officers and Members at large to First Tee – Lake County Junior Advisory Council. All committee members may attend and participate in all Junior Advisory Council meetings, however, they do not have voting rights.

Officer Roles & Responsibilities – Elections will take place annually in June with new offices taking over in September

The Council

 President
The president chairs meetings, serves as primary First Tee – Lake County spokesperson and serves on First Tee – Lake County Advisory Board and Chairs Junior Club Fundraisers

 Vice President
The vice president assists President, serves as Communication Coordinator for the Junior Council, serves as president in the event that the president is not available

Treasurer
The treasurer maintains and reports on finances and serves as primary contact regarding First Tee national participant opportunities

  Secretary
The secretary maintains records: agendas, minutes and roster

Junior Council Specific Duties
Junior Coach Assistance at Regular & Outreach Clinics
Maintain Participant Page and Photo Library on Website
Provide Input on Volunteer Evaluation/Recognition
Assist at all The First Tee of Lake County Events
Promote and assist on Participant Applications
Serve as speakers/ambassadors at civic group presentations/events
Organize and Manage at least one Junior Council Fundraiser each season

**Applicant must reach their 14th Birthday by the first day of the event and not have reached their 19th birthday by the conclusion of the event.
